Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)
- 01Every 4-6 weeks is the sweet spot for most clients. Your skin cells turn over roughly every 28 days, so spacing appointments around that cycle keeps your results building instead of starting over. If you're working through acne or a specific concern, we may recommend more frequent visits early on - we'll set that plan at your first appointment.
- 02Custom facials, chemical peels, dermaplaning, hydrodermabrasion, nano-infusion, microcurrent, and lymphatic drainage. Every service starts with a skin assessment so we're treating what your skin actually needs, not what's on a menu.
- 03Yes. The team has 13+ years working with every skin tone, type, and concern - acne, hyperpigmentation, aging, sensitivity, and everything in between. Melanin-rich skin is not an afterthought here.
- 04We start with a real conversation - what's working, what isn't, what you want to change. Then a hands-on skin analysis, followed by a custom treatment built around what your skin needs that day. You'll leave with a clear picture of your skin and a plan for what comes next.
- 05Acne, hyperpigmentation, uneven texture, signs of aging, dehydration, and sensitivity. If you're not sure where your skin falls, book a virtual consultation and we'll figure it out before you come in.
- 06A chemical solution is applied to the skin to loosen the outer layer, revealing fresher, clearer skin underneath. Peels treat hyperpigmentation, acne, uneven texture, and early signs of aging. The strength and type of peel is always matched to your skin - not pulled off a shelf.
- 07For a superficial peel series, most clients do 3-6 sessions spaced a few weeks apart. After that, maintenance peels every 6-8 weeks keep the results going. We build this timeline together at your consultatio
- 08For the first 48 hours: no sweating, no washing your face for 8-12 hours, and sunscreen every single day. Do not pull or pick any peeling skin - trim it if you need to, but never pull. Avoid scrubs and chemical exfoliants for 3-5 days. You'll leave with a take-home care kit and clear instructions for every step.
- 09When performed by a licensed esthetician, chemical peels are safe. We use products tailored to your skin type and perform patch test when necessary to minimize any risks. All clients receive a take home care kit to assist with any after effects.
- 10Not everyone. Retinol is powerful but it's not the right fit for sensitive skin or during pregnancy. If retinol isn't right for you, Bakuchiol is a solid alternative that works the same pathway without the irritation. We sort this out during your consultation.
